ABOUT LAW & MEDIATION OFFICES

REMEMBER, A LAW SUIT IS AN ACT OF VIOLENCE AGAINST ANOTHER PERSON!

In more than 30 years of practicing family law,  we have learned the truth of that statement, made by a very wise constitutional law professor our first day of class. A lawsuit takes on a life of its own, creating stress and consuming precious time and energy, for the folks on both sides ... there is an option for family law issues- MEDIATION!
For better or worse, statistics support the fact that family law issues bring more folks into contact with our legal system than almost any other legal issue. Because this is true, it is important for those seeking services to consider carefully the options available for resolution of the daunting issues they are facing. The first choice you make is the manner you choose to resolve your family's legal needs.
Court House — Divorce Attorney in Daly City, CA
Our Bay Area law firm is dedicated to the resolution of family law disputes in as peaceful and amicable manner as possible. Through the years we have learned that families going through separation, divorce, or other family issues who choose mediation, negotiation or collaboration as their means of resolving disputes are more satisfied with the settlements that they are able to reach than those who choose to litigate.

We also draft living trusts, simple wills, powers of attorney and other estate related documents. While these are not generally contested issues when you undertake to engage in estate planning, the process does require some looking inward and making decisions that will have long reaching effects on you and your family.

Living Trusts, as most folks are aware, are almost a necessity when one is a home owner. This kind of estate planning allows assets to pass to heirs without the need to probate the estate in court.
